Brandon Diau is a German born Congolese professional footballer on a professional contract who plays as a defender for Institute in the NIFL Championship.
Personal life
Brandon Diau was born in Bonn in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany to Congolese immigrant parents.
Career
Brandon Diau's footballing journey started at Bayer Leverkusen, but he was later let go.
He played for English non-league sides Billericay, Truro City and Burgess Hill Town, before signing for Kidderminster Harriers for the 2019/20 season.[1] Diau was later loaned out to Redditch United.[2]
Diau obtained a trial with Scottish side Greenock Morton in July 2023.[3]
Diau had spells in Wales with Flint Town during the 2022/23 season and Colwyn Bay during the 2023/2024 season, before joining Portadown in Northern Ireland in January 2024.[4][5]
