Kawnia is an administrative area of Barisal city.[1] It has a population of 127,300.[1]

Geography

Kawnia Thana borders Muladi upazila in the north, Bandar Thana, Kotwali Model Thana, Airport Thana in the south, Mehendiganj upazila in the east, Airport thana in the west.[1]
