Lori Bettison-Varga
Lori Bettison-Varga (born c. 1962) is an American geologist and academic administrator. She is the president of the Los Angeles Museum of Natural History.[1] Previously, she was president of Scripps College, and held positions at Pomona College, the College of Wooster, and Whitman College.[1]
She earned her PhD from UC Davis, in 2022, Bettison-Varga was honored as an American Association for the Advancement of Science fellow and in 2025 was named to the American Alliance of Museums' board.[2][3][4]
